A grand opening for Yarm Sports and Social Club's new entrance

Yarm Sports and Social Club officially unveiled its new entrance in July, with local MP and Northern Powerhouse Minister James Wharton in attendance to do the honours. The facility had received £50,000 in funding from Sport Entrance to make the improvements to the club and what a difference they have made!

The entrance is now brighter and better than before, with much improved disabled access which now includes disabled toilets and a stair lift to the bar.

James Wharton said: “This is a great facility and is well used. The improvement this investment has made possible will secure its future for years to come and are a credit to all those at the club who have worked hard to deliver the funding and oversee the building work.

“It is great to be asked to perform the official re opening of facilities which have been given such an impressive new lease of life.”
